What parts do I need to get?
I bought koni yellows and ground-control springs and I want to pre assemble them so I have 2 sets of legs for my car. My question is what parts do I need to make this happen? ie:top hats etc...
Any help would be great. Thanks in advance.

you can buy top hats from a junk yard, you could buy the GC extended top hats(which increase shock travel on lower'd cars), you could also modify the top hats from the junk yard so they are extended....search for shock travel and you'll find some treads on it.
also go to the junk yard and beat off the brake line brackets off the factory shocks, because the yellows dont come with em.
that all i think you'll need to pre assemble the shocks....for ez swap

Top hats - you will need to take out the rubber bushings and switch the new wider diameter metal collars. You will also need to take out the rubber insulators and replace them with the GC insulators.
Bumpstops - you can order 4 stock bump stops from slhonda.com or acuraparts247.com (I got mine for about $4 each by searching around every possible Honda bumpstop ever made and finding the cheapest ones). You will need to dremel out the middle to make the hole wider so that it will fit around the wider shaft on the Konis. I also cut a little bit off of the bottom of my bumpstops.
Dustcovers - stock dustcovers will not fit, so you could try the speedi-boot DIY that PatrickGSR94 wrote up awhile ago. Just cut the ends off, use zip ties on the bumpstop and top of the GC sleeve.
Brake line brackets - knock them off at the junkyard at stated before, make sure you position them so the little divot is pointing down to the pinch bolt indentation on the shock.
Make sure you have all of the washers from Koni, there should be a plastic white washer on the bottom of the shaft, 2 washers on top of the bumpstop, 1 concave disk washer on top of the tophat, and 2 19mm nuts.
That's all I can think of for now.
