I was just wanting to know if it was like a basic stock tranny with LSD or was it like a custom trans. Thanks

stock trans i believe.....

i know his setup though (no, i'm not a **** rider...i just watched his engine come together over at RLZ)

Thanks for the info I was just wondering if like a stock Z6 or Y8 trans with a good clutch, flywheel, LSD etc.... would be sufficent. Thanks

I used a stock ZC transmission with either a 4.25 or a 4.37 final drive. I used a welded stock differential. Only mods made to the transmission were a countershaft bearing retainer that was welded over the bearing bore. It kept the CS bearing from backing out into the ring gear under heavy load.

I am out of the import racing deal, five years of racing and traveling all over the country was fun, but I needed a break. I still visit HT on a regular basis........
