Default ls turbo set up?

Hey guys,
I just bought a full turbo kit and still waiting for sum other ****. My question is i have a ls motor mounted on a gsr tranny, the case has been split and a lsd and a final drive have been added. So my gears are short i think they might be to short. So do you guys think i should get a ls tranny with an lsd or should i change final drives? And i plan on driving this car daily i was wondering what's your feelings on an oil cooler i was thinking greddy? And or any other things you guys think i should have to ensure the life of my motor.

****DOES ANYONE KNOW WHERE IN UPSTATE NY I CAN BRING MY CAR TO INSTALL THE TURBO AND ECT?******

THANX GUYS

Here's my thoughts:

shorter gearing = faster acceleration =

turbo = more heat. oil cooler =

ensuring the life of your motor ----> engine management and a good tuner.

I'm going to tune the **** out of it, the only reason i asked bout the oil cooler is because this guy told it may cause problems( more oil lines more room for failure)
And about the tranny 1st gear does 30 2nd-60 3rd-80 4th-105 5th-130. So top speed would be 130mph and without the turbo kit i cross the 1/4 mile in 4th gear at about 6000 - 6500, im sure with the turbo i'll be in 5th i just don't want to top the car out all the time

Well i think the gsr trans should be ok, but possibly you might want to go with an LS for the longer gears to spool harder. Oil cooler is a good idea and isnt that expensive. Just my thoughts though.

NO shorter gears always equals faster runs! GSR tranny with LS final is perfect..i'd stick with it

YOu don't need an oil cooler for your goals which prolly are under 300whp. It's nice to have for sure, but not necessary. Post up in the FI forum people can direct you where to go for an install

I think it will be ok 2.( a lot of shifting) Lol!!! and for the oil cooler i wana build the car for daily use and i rather do it right now and not regret it later but this is my first turbo setup so i'd rather listen to experiance
