Just a general question here, I was curious if anyone had any recomendations of a shop to get my car repainted. I figure word of mouth is better than anything, I am in the LA/Valley area and am starting to price what a total paint job/minor door ding body work would cost. The one estimate I recieved so far they said "Hmm we can repaint your car for about 3000-3500, seemed a lil' pricey to me. Thanks for any info for any shops you've taken your cars too.

I'm also in your area and have also done some research as to where to paint my car. Many places are charging around that price range for a good-great paint job. I believe that is what we are going to have to spend for quality work. I on the other hand, will not be able to afford a great paint job and will be settling for the $1000-1500 price range. Just make sure that they're using PPG paint, doing work in a paint booth, have some kind of warranty, and are producing satisfactory work that you would be happy with. Good luck man.
