I think this is a little slow for a mini-me CRX....
RT - .3228
60ft - 2.4277
330ft - 6.7263
1/8 ET - 10.3000
1/8 MPH - 68.33
1000ft ET - 13.3969
1000ft MPH - 79.60
1/4 ET - 15.9900
1/4 MPH - 86.67
'91 CRX Si, D16A6 block, D16Y8 head, 2 layer headgasket (yielding 10.6:1 compression), AEM CAI, DC 4-2-1 header, 2.25" exhaust with "high flow" cat, bored throttle body, mini-me chip (found somewhere on PGMFI), Centerforce stage 3 clutch, Ground Control coilovers, Tokico HP struts, 16" ASA wheels (19 lbs a piece), decent ZR tires.
Launch at 4k, I let the clutch slip a little bit, and the tires don't spin that much, but it doesn't bog. I still could use some work on the launches though. Shift at about 7k, VTEC engages at 5200, shifted into 4th maybe a second before the 1/4 mile marker. On the previous run I hit rev limiter in 3rd, so I decided I would shift into 4th. My times were very consistant, around 16.0 and 16.1. I don't know what the deal is... I think this is a slower track, but....
Just for a little comparison, I raced a '91 HF with A6/Y8 mini-me, I/H/E, port and polish, AEM cam gear (2* advanced at crank), 14" steelies with decent Douglas tires (
), no chip, still OBD0, but could still engage VTEC. He beat me in that run with a 15.88 at 89.70. I had him until just after 1/8th mile...
Maybe I should just be happy that I finally got it into the 15's...
BTW, times were recorded at MoKan dragway in Joplin, Mo, 70's, sunny day, this last saturday (5/2/05).

well, what I always look at is the 60ft. time. The rule of thumb is that for every .1 second you take off of the 60ft time, you can take off .2 seconds from the whole 1/4 run. And if you look at your 2.4 second 60 ft. time, you have to figure that if you were to make that a 2.0 60 ft time, which is very possible with some azenis or something, you've potentially got a 15.0 car, which sounds a bit more reasonable. even a 2.2 short time makes your run a 15.4, which is pretty respectable.
Don't know track elevation, sorry. I should have found out though because I knew someone would ask that
.
I've tried a ton of different ways to launch, with this car and my old Civic HB. I got the same 60ft times with my ZC/DX tranny HB, but with 14" steelies and some nearly bald tires. I wish I could remember the tire size.
That track has always had problems with FWD cars getting traction, especially on street tires, but I've still noticed that its a slower track than others. I've never had good luck with Azeni's either, but I have some Kumho Supra's on there right now.

Mini-me's don't put out that much more power than a plain old a6, so remember that. All those bolt-on's don't do much either. Slap a bottle or turbo on it, and feel some real power gains
My point is, you just can't expect that much more with those mods.
