no.. its the lower timing belt cover that i need, not the upper.. i need the one thats down by the crank pulley. I guess the original cover got too hot or something and started warping out.. and the crankpulley must have been rubbing on it and shredded it all up, so theres a big hole in the cover now and its still all bulged out so the crank pulley rubs on it. So it's kinda essential to replace it..

on me for making an *** of myself.

I see no reason why the 89 integra one wouldn't fit, but then again I have no idea. I hate having an engine which is hard to find parts for. Grrr...

I am no ZC or single cam expert. But I can see a GOOD reason why the 1G Integra timing belt cover might not fit: the driver's side bracket. One BIG difference between the D16A1 (1G Integra motor) and 2G ZC is the location of the driver's side bracket. It bolts to the FRONT of the block on a D16A1 and on the SIDE of the block on a 2G ZC. So the D16A1 cover will not have a hole for the bracket. I am not sure if it is feasible to cut one on the cover for a D16A1, though.

hmmm
yeah, i was thinking about maybe using an integra one and modding it to fit.. but im not too sure if thats gonna be possible.. and if it doesnt fit its kinda a waste of money, cause these things arent cheap from honda
I think all im really gonna be able to do is just search the net for a used one or soemthing, ive already posted a classifieds add.. but no luck yet
if anyone can think of other covers that i would be able to mod to fit.. please let me know
thanks
