Default Buying 94 Integra LS - any maintenance gotchas?

I'm considering a 94 LS with 62k mi. Carfax says no problems/accidents, and the previous owner just did the 60k service, timing belt, etc.

I'm taking the car to be looked at by an Acura shop on Friday, but I was just wondering if:
(A) there are any known problems with the 94 LS?
and
(B) anything special that you guys recommend I look for when inspecting it.
I know the basic things to look for (metal particles in the oil, car drives straight when driving or pressing brakes, smell oil, look at exhaust)

Thanks!
ps: I searched the archives and only found a single post which helped a little.

if u could, have them do a compression test and leak down test to see the health of the engine. if done on an acura dealer they would know the acceptable compression nos.

This probably isn't what you are loking for, but anyway.

I've owned an '86 Integra and now have a 2000 LS.
The 86 had two problems tlater on in it's life.
One problem with the '86 was that it began to overheat nearing 172k miles. A new Radiator and hoses fixed the problem though.
Also the dampers (struts) began to fade about he same time. So the suspension would bottom out if taking speed-bumps too fast.

My 2000 is still a dream. 25k miles and going strong.

One Nit-Picky detail: Check the front jack-point for rust. Usually if the driver has taken a dip in the road too hard this will be rubbed raw. You may want to take some time to fix this before it rusts. That is my project next weekend.

Before I bought my 2000, I was looking at a used 98. The car drove fine, but it turned out the car was totalled and restored to health by the seller. He didn't even mention it when we asked why the underbody was all scratched up. I got him to confess when I asked him directly if it had been in an accident.

Moral: Ask if it has been in an accident.

Other than that, I love these cars!

I forgot one thing.

On the '86, the horn shorted out and drained the battery one week.
Not that there is any way to check on this kind of thing, but If your horn stops working and your battery dies, you'll know what happened!

Ask as many questions as you can about the car's history; what was it driven for (work or fun), accident history (even small fender benders), why they are selling it,...just about anything you could think of. Only a true a55hole would lie about these things.
