Retarded Springs... Calling out for help!
A few months ago i got a set of eibach pro kit and Kyb Agx shocks. Before that, I had a set of ground control coilovers sitting on stock shocks. Now I didnt like the way the GC's were dangling in the back cuz they were short by nature. Hense was the reason I got Eibachs, now with Eibachs I'm loving the ride quality and spring rate and i love the way the back is sitting except now the front is uneven. I been told by Eibach that I should give the springs 5000miles of so to "settle in" well its been over 5000 and the drivers front side is sitting about an inch higher than the passenger side. SO! I was wondering, since I still have my ground control coilovers what if I leave the Eibach springs in the back and put stiffer Ground control coilovers in the front. How would that affect my ride / shock life? Please help?
Let's see if we can figure out why the front is uneven. Did you just notice that it bacame uneven even though you changed nothing? Or was it uneven as soon as you made the switch? If it became uneven over time then something has broken or loosened up. You should have it checked out. If it was uneven from the get-go then something was not installed correctly or you have mis-matched springs (doubtful check to see that the numbers match on the springs)
In general, its very very doubtful that good quality springs like Eibachs will sag and even if they sag they tend to sag evenly.
As far as switching to the GCs in front, we can't know how it will effect the handling without know the spring rat of the GCs and the Eibachs. But if you bought what they normally sell you probably won't be in such bad shape. Probably the worst thing would be an increase in understeer since the GCs are probably stiffer. Extra understeer is preferable to extra understeer as it is safer for street driving.

could bad bushings on lower control arm and tie rod affect that change. I noticed that they need to be replaced asap. But also, its not jsut the uneveness in the front. Its also a little too high to my preference. I love the way the back is sitting 1.2" but front is just isnt low enough and i still have a 2 finger gap that i would like to eliminate. I know with the GC in the front I will have an understeer prob but its ok. I'm more concerned with the looks since the car is defenetly not for gran turismo racing. And I certanly dont plan to take street corners at 40+ LOL so yea? its a good idea? What about shock life?
