I have an h22 with a skunk2 manifold. I just put on a sk2 throttle body and every thing was working fine and I really loved it. After 3 or 4 days as I came to a stop the car was idling at about 2500, and after I cam to a complete stop it dropped down to 2000(still doing it). I checked and adjusted the screw that effects the idle but it didn't help. Does any body know what it could be or how to help me? Also I sort of guessed on the vac lines, but I thought I had it.

 

what did u use for a gasket?

 

Its a OEM one. I put it on for a day, and then I took it off and cut off the extra because the bore is bigger.

 

it may be the throttle linkage is sticking or getting hung up.

 

Did you get good gains from the two mods?

 

I HAVE BOTH THE SKUNK2 THROTTLE BODY AND THE MANIFOLD HERES THE PROBLEM WITH THEM AND WHY YOU IDLE SO HIGHT FOR ONE THE MANIFOLD DOES NOT USE THE EGR VALVE AND ELEMINATES IAC UNLES YOU MOUNT IT SOMEWHERE ELSE THE THROTTLE BODY ELIMINATES THE FAST IDLE THAT IS WHY YOU IDLE HIGH MINE IDLES 1500-2000 IT VARIES SKUNK2 HAS JUST RELEASED A KIT FOR BOTH IT COST 20-40 DOLLARS DEPENDING ON WICH DEALER YOU GO TO

 

What did Skunk2 release to solve the EGR problem?

Im running Spoon 70mm TB and Skunk2 intake manifold.
