changing axle shaft on my 88 DX ?'s
the boot is ripped and ya get that nice rattling sound when the wheel is turned and you gas it so are there any special tools or tricks needed to do this job?

i told you they have everything...
that's for the driver's side, but the passenger side is very similar in procedure...
i can do this job in about 30 minutes by myself, do it's not a real problem...

that post was closed. but good info, i was under the assumption that once you remove the arm from the ball joint you have to replace the ball joint...which looking like its pressed into the knuckle instead of the control arm could turn out to be a bitch
yeah, it's a real pile of ****...
if you search over on 3geez, you can see what i mean... i'm vanilla sky over there, too... seach for my "confirm my thoughts thread" and you'll see what i mean...
in order to search, you do have to join, and if you do, list me as the referrer, pweeze
and BTW, when i did my axles, i didn't pull any balljoints...
i detached the upper A-arm and worked the axle out...
