not loud enough
well ya could go with the apexi gt spec catback like i did. and after a 2 hour trip cruising at 80....it kinda reminded me of those days in highschool at the dance where the music was so loud when u walked out side u could barely hear anything.
but im not saying that the gt spec doesn't sound good, it sounds great but its just kinda a little too loud. imo the gt spec makes the apexi n1 sound like a ***** lol

when you bought the rs*r you didnt realize its marketed as "the quietest aftermarket exhaust"????
i doubt its less loud than stock but id say make a test pipe.
i have a dc 4-1 and rs*r w/test pipe, its decently loud and very FUNCTIONAL.
driving a b16 at 80 gets obnoxious after about 5 mins.

the rsr is the quietest exhaust ever. looks mad stock too. i like it.. next exhause is def. rsr- (once i get sick of the rediculously loud exhause setup im running now. i have 2.5" piping headerback with a megan racing strait thru muffler. megan impresses me so much for being such a new company. my exhaust is so ******* loud its rediculous, sooo throaty as well, and when vtec hits- good god. carbon fiber and a titanium tip. looks amazing. u want loud- get a type one titanium axleback. friend of mine just installed it. its louder then mine. granted its on an ITR heh.

Buying a new catback is one solution, but its probably not the cheapest way to go. I would just go to an exhaust shop, and have them cut off the muffler, and either just add new straight pipe in its place, or a glasspack. Its hard to go wrong with a "muffler" you can look straight through, and they're rather inexpensive. And if you really want to drop the tone, cut off the current muffler, flare the exhaust to 3" (or larger), then add in a larger, straight through muffler, or straight pipe.
