I've had great experiences with both dealerships

 

Yeah I would give Len a call cause looking at the diagram on acuraautomotiveparts.org it looks like you have to buy the whole vent.

 

the guy at my local dealership keeps on telling me i need to buy the whole vent and i dont feel like spending that much cash on a vent

so if anyone has one lyeing around or knows for sure where i can buy just the plate
please let me know

Just buy a sunroof switch from a junk yard and jam it in there.

I have my OE block off plate removed (using a sunroof switch to work the power door locks (RS door handles are installed))... but did not know that you need to buy the whole vent to replace it.

 

yea they are like $2.50 from a dealer

you can buy just the plate. I have bought them a few times.
