wat do you guys do with an engine after a swap?
over the yrs, i've done a few motor swaps, and as a result.. i have 3 engines lying in my garage and they're starting to take up space. they're all bad, and might be rebuildable, but I dont think its worth it.
If i wanted to get rid of them, what is my best way. they're too heavy for me to pick up n throw away at a garbage dumpster, and i'm too lazy to take it apart to throw it bits n pieces...
Would i be able to call a scrap metal place? is the metal worth enough for someone to come n get them? thanks

or save it, never know when you'll run into a beater that might just need a motor or tranny! Sometimes not worth getting rid of it for cheap unless really nessary!

i would save it incase u crash your car or it gets stolen or something where it isnt drivable. that way u could buy a shell and drop it in.
Well he did say they are all bad. Unless he wants to spend money on them and rebuild it. Post it up on the Classifieds for free someone will take them off your hands.
Just find some mullet-****** with a Honda sux sticker on his v8, follow him home and come back with all 3 motors and dump 'em on his front lawn

Guess I'm tired or maybe it was actually funny but it's the first thing to make me laugh tonight.
one's a b18b with a hole in the block from hydrolocked, the other is a f22 from a 96 accord ex with a blown head gasket, and the other is a d15 with a spun rod bearing. There is no useful parts from n e of the motors

You are so very wrong about that.
You could easily make a bunch of cash parting out those motors.

How?
Make up a list of the parts that are available on the 3 engines, go to Honda-Tech classifieds, and post the list.
What parts?
All of them. You never know what random stuff people can use.
Who?
Anyone. Could be someone with a stock Accord they just need a replacement part for, and us d-series people are crazy, you never know who might want to ****** up that d15 to rebuild.
