windshield wiper arms
why bother? there is a thing call spray paint in a can. that does the job well and cheap. one can will last you forever if you are gonna just use it to spray the arms.
Just make sure you always keep them clean, so they dont start to peal the black paint off and become silver. Try maybe using armor all or maybe a wax product. This post is pretty gay but since i am upping my post count ill add to it.
tngay, actually they look pretty ******* ugly spraypainted, they wolu djusdt chip as soon as they get salt or some type of acid on them. And to replace them it's not cheap. $150 from the dealer
any paint will chip if u put acid on it. its common sense. aint like that spray paint is that expensive anyways and also respraying it aint hard. still worth the time to repspray it. no matter wat paint you have, it will be damage from the elements period.
I'd rather not have to spray paint any part of my car, especially anywhere near glass. The reason I ask this question is that I've read a lot about taking care of factory paint, rubber trim, wheels & tires, and glass. But I can't seem to find any info about the wiper arms, which are the part of a car that tend to show age. The sun heats it up and the paint cracks and the black fades. So I'm just wondering if anyone knows a good method to reduce that problem.

I've spraypainted my wiper arms and they've held up well. They don't look ugly at all and they haven't chipped at all. If you want a good article check out:

i've painted mine and they've held up well.....i just sanded it down a little, used some etching primer anywhere that bare metal was showing thru, then sprayed a couple coats of satin black.
