sorry man..OBD0 cars do NOT have diagnostic ports for scan tools.
under the carpet on the passenger side is the ECU which has an LED. the LED blinks to show a code...thats pretty much it...

there is a blue plug that hangs under the dash. is that what you're talking about? if you're looking for ecu codes, they are flashed in the little diamond window on the ecu.
i know.....that led doesnt help anything......it tells u the circuit but not the exact problem.....the snap on scanner will tell you whats wrong with it.............so u say its a blue plug.......where>?????its supposed to be under the carpet
its doesnt tell u ****.....i ahd that once....and it told my fuel ijection cicruit....and it was the ignitor not......an injector.....ignitor......that ECU is garbage......i jsut wanna know where the damn plug is

If you truly are trying to be a mechanic, you should listen to what others are telling you. Yelling on a forum is not going to get you the desired results.
You have failed to give us any information about your vehicle. Year, make, model, swap (y/n) yadda yadda...
Try giving us more information to help you, and you will most likely get the answers you need. There are some very experienced people on this board, but we cant help you if you dont tell us all the needed info.
How do you know its running rich? What led you to that conclusion?

I'm sorry, but when i completely rewired my car, it didn't have a port. maybe it can do all cars since 1980, but since there was no port required yet, it makes sense that some were manufactured with alternatives, i.e. a blinking l.e.d. if its been connected before, i don't know. good luck.

the scan reader doesn't work on car before 96. unless you have a gm then they have special adapters. but for you car you will have to go to auto zone or some other store to check it out. it's a two prong tool for that. the code is display by the flashing of your check engine lite. hopefully this answers your ?

if u dont belive what everybody is saying then go and grab ur snap on scaner and press the button (the red one ) and select ur car and if the car has a plug the scanner should tell u
but of course ur car doent have a plug for obd0
the only plug i seen in a honda its the one for obd2 the one i use to do emission test
i think the only cars that had plugs since 80s were gm cars

there is no such thing as obd0
its called pre obd because thats what it is. in the era before there was any standardization.
did you SEE this device hooked up to your car, or did he just tell you that to try to impress you.
because if he did indeed have that device hooked up to your car, then he tapped into the wires at the ECU like an APEXi system would, which is a ******* retarded thing to do.
just count the LED flashes, get the code, and fix the problem, with a helms manual. if you dont have a code then you need to follow the flow charts in the helms and you will find your problem. you could also swap in a newer D series if you want odb1 so badly.
i completley rewired 2 EF cars, from the tail lights to the front bumper signals, COMPLETLEY. there is no diagnostic port. ON TOP OF THAT this thread is useless waste of bandwidth because your title is a non descriptive piece of ****
"need urgent help" great.... now NO ONE can EVER search for it and use the information found here.... and stop being an *** to people.
