im goin to be goin to the track this next week . i was wondering what do you guy's think i should be getting in the 1/4 mile with my 97' CIVIC EX COUPE . i know it depends on many things , like the driver etc, etc .... but what should i be expecting with my setup ? i have a jdm sir II 170 hp engine , skunk 2 intake manifold , comptech header, aem cold air intake , cat back exhaust, 15' rotas with toyo proxe 4's . reasone im asking is because this is my very first time goin to race at the track and i want to see what i should be getting around . thanks
1ST time at track??--you'll get 16 (something)
problably squeeze out 15.10-20 by the end of day
as long as you can manage a decent 60ft

60ft--means the 1st 60 feet of the race track--IMO the 60ft/330ft is the most critical when it comes to drag racing...the 60 ft is pretty much how well you launched the car (how well you got out of the whole)--the 330 ft was how well your 1-2 shift was?--a "great" 60 ft on street tires IMO would be a 2.0
"average" probably a 2.2 (on street tires)-from what was i always told--cut 1 tenth off your 60ft is 2 tenths off your 1/4...pretty much comes down to..practice!!!

Reaction time has nothing to do w/ your E.T (for time trials)
