Default Dyno results .

Hello Honda people

The other day I went to a shop where they can dyno tune your car and I made an appontment and I went for some dyno runs, first run it dyno`d 204 flywheel horsepower then after some tuning with the fuel pressure regolator and with the timing it picked up 4hp now the final tune results were like this :

Max Power at the Flywheel : 208.0 @ 8606 rpms
Max Torque at the Flywheel : 134.7 Lbft @ 7204 rpms

What do you guys think ?? Good ?? Bad ??
What is the power at the wheels WHP ??

Thanks
Marlon

Assuming a 15% drivetrain loss:

176.8hp/114.5tq

How did they get flywheel results? did they take the motor out of your car or the tranny?

it was more than likely estimated.. that and hp over there is btu or kw or whatever they measure in Europe for hp.. or is it torque?

No it was just a normal Dyno that mesures BHP and torque , I don`t know much more about it , the graph that he gave me is mesured as flywheel horsepower .

The dyno runs were made with the Spoon Sports ECU and he tuned with the fuel pressure regolator and spark timing.

I will hook up my scanner and I will post the graph.

Are the numbers that I got good for the mods that I have !?

If those are the only two mods, then yes it sounds like a great number.

USDM ITR's stock dyno between 160-170 WHP, probably closer to 160.

dyno measures torque and hp is calculated from that.. if it dynoed at the wheels, and that would be where your car is driving on the rollers, then flywheel hp has been estimated.

208HP is impossible on a stock car with just timing and Spoon ECU, the stock EUDM ITR are about 184-186HP (at the flywheel), so you can't gain 22HP with thoses mods. The max power rpm is not good too, the stock Pmax is at 7900-8000rpm and it's very difficult to go higher with our stock header.
Try an other dyno.

My car is JDM , and my mods are :

Engine
Mugen exhaust manifold 4-2-1 Gymkhana spec
Mugen V1 oil filler cap
Tanabe SMR cat back exhaust system
Custom made stainles steel decat pipe
Spoon Sports hi pressure radiator cap
Spoon Sports computer ECU
Ultra blue Spark plug wires
NGK platinums spark plugs
ENJO OE upgrade 3 motor mounts
OEM torque mounts with energy suspension inserts
HKS super power flow air filter
AEM cold air intake system
AEM hi volume fuel rail
AEM fuel pressure regolator
Sard fuel pressure guage

Drivetrain
ACT prolite Flywheel 8.8lbs
ACT XTSS clutch kit
JDM 4.785:1 final drive

at 7900 - 8000 rpms the Hp is 204
I will post the graph as soon as I hook up my scaner.
