Default dash wiring harnesses

are the gsr dash harnesses the same part numbers as the non-vtec models? I just noticed that mine has been hacked up by the previous owner, when an af gauge and vafc were installed...and a few of them pulled out of my ecu harness today when i was trying to start my car after the motor swap....

anyone have a gsr harness?

uh dude... VAFC installs are done on the Main Engine Harness ECU wires, they are separate from the Dash harnesses that run to the cluster and controls.

A brand new Engine harness will cost you 700-1000 new, no kidding. I suggest you just insulate the hacked wires good and just live with it. Which is why buying a used car that was never modded is always the best way to go.

Actually the car has several wiring harnesses. Off hand, I cannot give you the actual part number that you seek. Possibly call your local Acura dealer?

If your dash wires were a bit hacked up....sounds like he maybe had some gauges in there of some sort. I'm quite sure the part you seek is going to be pretty expensive (example: my engine wiring harness for my Type R from the stealership was almost 900.00) so your next best bet, which would be a bitch, is to get in there with a soldering iron and reconnect what he hacked up. Good luck mang'
