will a gsr throttle body fit on a d16 engine if so how? any help would be great or just links on how to do it would be wonderful.

 

whate type of gsr any b series throttle body bolts right to a d series manifold

 

not sure what type but i was wondering about the throttle cable arent the two different or backwards(this is what I was told) if so how would you modify it to work on my d16a6 intake manifold.

if it bolts on, all u gotta do is switch the cable pulley "to your old sohc one" so it doesnt pull the other way.

easy.

If you are talking about a D16A6, then no, it will not bolt on. The bolt pattern of the A6 throttle body is different from all B-series and 92-up D-series throttle bodies.

 

well we also have other intake manifolds laying around from eg's and ek's but how do you switch them?

 

Just take off the injectors and all the vaccum and coolant hoses that are attached to the existing manifold, and unbolt it. The just replace it with whatever other manifold you want to use.
