i just changed my pads and took em for a test run, they do need to be bled but were good enough to stop me (i just couldn't lock em up) anyway i was riding them hard and when i came home after like 15 mins there was a bit of smoke comming outta the brake area and it reeked like burning pads is that bad ? or is it cause there new ?

you gotta break brake pads in right, otherwise you'll end up with bad rotors and such.
