Bearing Lubricant? Use Engine Assembly Lubricant?
Tried finding clevite, no luck. I found some Engine assembly lubricant, will that work fine on the bearings? Very newb question, just makin sure. It said it has a graphite and something else base. If not... where to go to get the lube?
Contact Motul, Redlnie, etc and ask what they would recommend for using during an assembly process. They are very knowledgable, and are pretty nice to talk with.

Any decent assembly lube should work fine for your build. DO NOT use regular engine oil as it will run off the bearings before the engine ever gets started.
Im using Permatex(SP) ultra slick Assembly lube... It say it for bearings to protect them on that initial start...
Since we on the subjects of lubes... you use 30W ND for the first 300miles of break in right?

I wouldn't drive on Non detergent oil... Just use a 5w-30 non synthetic oil.
