Serious problems with axles in ZC tranny swap
Have a 91 CRX Si with DOHC ZC motor. The stock trans took a **** so i got a ZC tranny. I have been told to get axles for a 90 integra when using the DOHC ZC tranny swap. Is this correct? My problem is when i put the axles in and go to tighten the nut on the end of the axle i can't turn the wheel. Something seem to be binding. Do i need diff brake? Different hubs, different axles? Does anyone know what the problem is with what i have and why it won't work?
this is just a suggestion, but have you tried removing the small dust rings on the inside of the hubs? i know that when using 90-93 integra axles with a b series swap, you have to remove the dust rings or the axles will bind....maybe that is the case here as well.
