Default B series trannys bolt up to D series engines.

I first heard it from some friends, that another guy bolted an LS tranny to a d15b. I called BS and said that they don't have the same bolt pattern and the blocks are different sizes, it won't work. Then I heard some fool at the honda dealership saying something like that. But he was also claiming a d16z6 has 24valves, LOL! So i doubt what he says is true. But i started to doubt myself after hearing it from a few people. So is it possible to bolt up b series engines to a d series block or was i right in assuming that these guys know a lot about nothing?

It better be very thin adapter plates because you don't have alot of room where the tranny mounts go.

adapter plates...hmmm? interesting. i'll just stick with d series. If i've learned anything, its that if honda didn't design things to work togather, then trying to make them do so is just a headache(i.e LS/VTEC)
