I have a 1999 Integra LS and at low rpm (2,000 - 2,500) only, there is a metal ratling noise coming from under the car. Any ides as to what it may be?? thanks

 

you may need a valve adjustment. I'm hearing a lot of ticking on my teg right now too. A valve adjustment should take care of the rattling.

 

you can also check your exhaust system because mine rattles at low rpm

no, a valve adjustment will take care of the "tapping". He said it's coming from UNDER the car.

It's either your A-pipe rattling it's dick off or it's one of your exhaust heatshields.

Try to be more specific.

Heat shields are a good possibility, Is it coming from your tranny?

 

I have to agree with the others. Heatshield.

 

has to be the heatsheild, we're known for that problem

 

check all of ur heat shields and make sure ur exhaust isn't loose

My LS had a rattling all through the RPM range, turns out it was 2 little pebbles in the heatshield on the cat and i was too lazy to get off those seized bolts, so i blew them out with a can of compressed air i got at staples for $2

My GS-R now has a rattling every time consistently at 3400-3600 RPM and really quickly at about 2800 somtimes. So, I'm pretty sure that is the bolts on the heatshield like is so common on integras.
