Default sohc vtec swap into EF SI dizzy question

i blew my dohc zc so im putting a sohc vtec in my car... my question is can i use the obd-1 dizzy with a obd-0 ecu? i wired it up already and its getting spark. when i crank it give me a sputter like its tring to start.. if a put a obd-1 ecu would i have to chang emy injectors too? let me know

You have to match the distributor to the ecu. So if you are going to use an OBD0 ecu, you'll need to use an OBD0 dizzy. Yes, if you plan to go OBD1, then you'll need OBD1/2 injectors.

You can also use obd0 injectors with ob1 ecu, but u have to use a obd1/2 dizzy with obd1 ecu
