ok guys my friend has a 90 integra with a stock bottom end with GSR head he has the whole car ready to for vtec everything but the car wont turn on with ob1 ecu and harness converter it will run fine with LS ECU but no vtec right.
so we plug everything in for the ob1 but nothing it will crank over but nothing.
so i was told in the streets that he needs the obd1 dizzy is that true. because he got already and i changed the plugs too, but motor is not in yet, we took it out to put into another body integra. he also has the obd1 o2 sensor so hes good to go but it wont turn on.
will it turn on with the new dizzy obd1 vtec dizzy.
someone please help.

 

yes, i believe your buddy does need an obd 1 dizzy for it work
