Default o2 help b18c in a eg vx...code 1 real sluggish

i got my swap done. the car is drivable but it very slow. it idles kinda rough and threw a o2 code. i saw a thread on here about wireing the o2 sensor but it was for a vx with a p72 ecu. im running a chipped p28. does any know what all needs to be done here? vtec works and the car will pull it self but it is very sluggish.....basically i have a dohc vtec vx motor! its that slow. motor is not burning any oil. what are my options here? timing??? o2???? im really confused here and this is my first swap so im all in the dark. i used the gsr engine harness and it is plugged into the vx main harness. any info would be great
thanks
