motor mount where they go???

Default motor mount where they go???

Hi im going from a 2.3 auto, to a jdm 2.2 standard. when calling the auto part store today they said there is diffrent motor mountd for a 2.2 over 2.3 and diffrent mounts for a standard over auto that confused me all to heck. if anyone can put me back on the right track it would be apprciated

you aren't doing this yourself are you?

The only mount you need to replace is the tranny mount. It is between the transmission and the car

here, how about this:

this goes for ALL 92-96 H&F series engines



the front mount consists of #8 & #4, and they are all the same

the driver side mount consists of #5, and they are all the same

the rear mount consists of #9 & #3, and they are all the same

part #1 & #6 is the automatic mount on the passenger side.
part #2 & #7 is the manual mount on the passenger side, which is the part I circled in yellow above.

thanks this helps alot,we were looking at it again and what it is that i have a 5 gen h22a and i have a 1992 si, but i was told to just use my h23 mounts and ill be fine but still have to get the trans mount.

I think I might have an extra transmission mount from my F22A1 that I pulled.
I left it at my parents house in a box full of left over parts. I am going over there today, I'll see if I have it still.

EDIT: cannot find them, sorry

I can't find half of my parts.

you can buy them brand new online if you want at such places as http://WWW.HONDAAUTOMOTIVEPARTS.COM, or http://WWW.SLHONDAPARTS.COM. That picture is from SLHONDAPARTS
