FS/Gauging Interest: '91 BMW 318iS, near mint, Triad North Carolina
I have a 1991 BMW 318iS. i got it a few months ago. and i just cant seem to keep my mind made up on what car i want lol
so im thinkin about sellin it.
it's an excellent car, in really good condition.

doesnt have the iS lip in some of those pics, but it is on there now.
76k original miles. the original owners didnt drive much at all.
I think i am the third owner, the owner I bought it from was the daughter of the original buyer.
The car had a blown profile gasket when i bought it (only in M42 engines, happened to all of them, at some point. but usually between 60k-77k miles). parts that were replaced in the process:
the profile gasket, headgasket, water pump, spark plugs, ignition wires, thermostat, breather hoses, fan clutch.
the work was done by Carr Industries in Greensboro. has a 12 month/12000 mile warranty
...that cost me a pretty penny, as you can imagine.
this car runs great now, though.
This car features the optional 15in factory wheels. an optional red plate around the license plate area. and a GLASS moonroof (as opposed to the painted panel).
the color is diamond schwartz.
excellent condition inside and out.
the only things that arent perfect are as follows:
driver side windshield wiper is inop --somehow disconnected from the motor
radio antenna gets stuck
driver side window switch is finnicky/needs to be replaced. but it goes up and down with some finagling.
My asking price is less than what I have in it: $6000

thanks for lookin.
