are the d16a1 pistons the same size as the d15b2 pistons? im doing a lower end rebuild and if i am already gonna have it apart, i figure i could swap the pistons. i have a d16a1 engine just laying around. will it work?

 

i read a threat once telling me that they would work but i just wanted to be sure. i also heard that they will give me more compression. is this true as well? tia

Yes the d series line has the same bore size.
