Ground Control Coilovers with.......
Should I go with KYB AGXs or Koni Yellows? Its a price difference of 200 bucks. Both shocks are adjustable, both have been used by accord people for a while. I am leaning toward the KYBs. What do you fellas think.

depends on the spring rates and what you will be doing with the car.
the koni's will perform better in more situations and for higher spring rates, but if you're going to order the GC's with softer springs (or the typical GC spec 380F/250R springs) you can use the AGX's. and if you're not tracking the car or otherwise driving it competitively, the AGX's should be fine for street use.
however, if you want more, the konis are well worth the money.

Koni Yellows - this is a no-brainer. The Konis are much, much better. They are rebuildable. They carry a lifetime guarantee. You can have custom work done on them if you decide to support heavy spring rates (over about 550 lbs)
i think kyb agx's carry a lifetime warranty too. they have a 1.5 inch drop rule, but since you are going to have coilovers..
if you ever blow your shocks, just raise your car and go get urself a new set.

i have kyb agx's, but i wish i had koni yellows
so the max i could use on my agx's would be around 380 or 400? but could i still do an occasional auto X?

They will be able to tell how low your car was once the blown shocks are disassembled. It has been discussed in many other threads. The question is weather or not you will be dealing with the shop you purchased them from, or KYB directly...
I would get the Koni Sports. Oh wait, I already did...
If you like your car low, you don't have to worry about your warranty, you can set them nice & stiff for fun driving, and there is a brake line bracket trick that can help add shock travel to the front end (if Accords front Konis are like Civics)...

I esspecially like the second part where it tells the retailers what to look for, to void the warranty.

crap! i didnt know that they did not work with coilovers
go with the damn koni's.
well, ill figure out a way to get them back..like putting my springs back on. my car isnt very low..so i dont think i will have a problem with it being lower then 1.5 inches.
