i'm having some problems with my hatch, i recently did a swap, my car moves but theres one problem it chokes sometime when i press the gas can it be the fuel pump or another problem. can someone help me please? i did a gsr swap..

umm your fuel pump could be bad, you could always get new injectors. it def sounds like a fuel problem though. i would just go through and check my fuel filter, injectors, pump, rail. i dunno just go down the check list or something

 

you need to narrow things down more.

okay atleast 15 to 20 minutes after starting my car, it starts to act up, it chokes while i'm driving, it will do it for atleast 5 minutes and then stop but i hate that **** it aggrevates me, so would it be the fuel pump...

 

maybe bad coils? does your check engine light come on? check the codes first.

 

did you replace the fuel filter when you did the swap?

 

yes my check engine light is on, and i did change the fuel filter, i really appreciate you guess help me thanks

 

retrieve the CEL, then post back. if you're getting a cel its probably not your fuel pump. i'm putting my $$$ on timing or a sensor.
