Default need advice on gsr or ls block.

currently im running gsr long block with ctr os pistons. the head is mild build with valve trains and buddy club iv cams. i just bought an ls block for cheap. im thinking whats better, building ls crank and rods in the gsr block or just run ls vtec block.

Also should i run ctr pistons or 82mm IB pistons. do you think is work spending $400+ on a new set of pistons or its not worth it. planning to keep stock sleeves.

need comments from expert. thanks alot...

Do you already have an LS block? If not, it wouldn't hurt to put it in the GSR block. Also Depending on your set up be careful running CTR Pistons! Make sure you clay the motor.

Use the LS block then. Jus tshotpeen the rods and use ARP rod bolts and get new bearings. CTR Pistons are going to give you serious compression.
