converting a d15 to multi-point injection
A buddy of mine told me today, its possible to convert my d15a (dual point injection) to multipoint for a couple horses...What would be the gains from going to dual point to multi point? would the gain be significant or hardly noticeable?
As far as he told me, I'd need the ECU, and complete intake manifold. Does that sound about right?

Give it a quick search for a hell of alot of good writeups, but your buddies basically right. You'll need the ECU (PM6), MPFI distributor, Intake manifold includijng injectors and all that good stuff, a few extra ecu pins, injector clips from the MPFI, Distributor plugs from an MPFI, wire, solder and heat shrink tubing, and patience.
I did a few searches on the mechanical aspect of this swap, thats not a problem..
my main concern is, is it worth it on the 1.5 litre motor as far as power increase? Or what other advantage does the MPFI setup have that I am missing?
I dont want to do a B16 swap, just because I like to keep the car as stock as possible, but may do a ZC swap down the line if I can find a semi-local motor.

I did the mpfi swap. When you get on the gas, the over all reaction of the car is much smoother and feels just right. My dpfi system was almost done for, so when I got on it, it'd feel choppy....but either way, not a bad deal!

exactly, the motor has a little choppy feel to it at low throttle, its hard to describe - i imagine the parts for the mpfi swap would be easy to get. Did your MPG go up or down with the mpfi setup?
