Whats wrong with my car???
i cant seem to figure out whats wrong with my engine (JDM DOHC ZC) i checked the spark..i got that, i got fuel going into the fuel rails but it only starts when i spray some carb cleaner into my intake....but it just stays on for like a few moments then shuts off....any ideas what it could be??

it ran before this for like 2 days then it started acting up like this...but other then that yeah its a new swap

i hope not...but i got fuel going all the way to the rails and its not a little or anythings its alot

you use a ditial multimeter and test for power and ground. when you know you have both then you start to look for reasons you dont have fuel.
when you turn the key to the on position (not crank) do you hear the fuel pump prime?
if you dont, then your main relay may not be sending the signal to turn it on.
if you do hear the pump prime then have a more serious issue, and you should check for injector pulse itself, that requires a much better multimeter, or you can use a test light.
if your sure you have fuel pressure but the injectors wont pulse then its likley the ecu.
do you have any ecu codes? (dont go by the check engine light, look at the actual cel when you turn the key, you should get one short flash, which is the power on self test for the ecu itself, but after that look for anything irregular there)
it would help if you had a helms manual to tell you all those things i just said plus a whole lot more with pictures, diagrams, exact measuresments and anything else youd ever want to know about the car...

cause honestly sometimes its better to find stuff yourself then just try what people say on a forum having never seen your car.
on last silly thing, im not trying to be a dick, bc this honestly happened to me, but you have gas in it right?

Thanks...i'll check all that 2mor kinda late...yeah i have gas
thing is i had about 2+ year old bad gas in the tank and added more gas a week ago to test it....
