K i called honda dealer and they dont make fuel sending units anymore for my crx that sucks. No one seems to make an aftermarket replacement either. That sucks even more. So where do I go from here. Has anyone tried repairing one before. Plus the hf sending unit is different than dx and si unit. Because I tried putting that in my car and my gauge didnt work. And hf unit reads only half full when its filled all the way up. Any websites or instructions would be great on fixing the board.

is all you need is the sending unit for the guage ? if so i have another tank i took of a dx crx it still had the sending unit in it . pm me and let me know if you want it just pay the shipping . i know it worked it was in my old crx. lmk

 

dx/si sending units are different than hf sending units. Come on guys a hard question with no replies. I'm sure someone else has the same problem.

why not just go to a junk yard and get one and save yourself the trouble?

 

if a junk yard around here had a hf i would do it. It seems as soon as crx come in they crush most of them. ******* sucks. I've been looking for a few months. And honda doesn't sell them anymore. I tried a si one that I knew worked and when i put it in my car the guage wouldnt work. Put it in other car it worked. With hf sending unit it in at fuel tank it only goes to half way mark. The problem is my hf has a 8. something gallon tank and all the si have either 10.9 or 11.9 or something. Anyways I'm still looking if anyone can give more info thats cool. I'm going to take it to slow90hatch this weekend and see if he can fix the board in it. If he can maybe this is a good service to offer to others....since honda stopped making them.
