Default Help CARsound hi flow cat doesn't fit on 99 GSR?

Well I just got off the phone with a sales representative at IPSracing. I told them I had a Comptech Header 94-99 GSR with O2 bung and 94-99 GSR Apexi World Sport II Exhaust that I was going to put on and wanted to order the Carsound Cat for 94-99 GSR assuming thats what I would need to do.
A person named Mike, told me that there carsound cat would not fit on my setup because they told me my header was too long and basically that they would need to fabricate or custom a carsound for me if I wanted one, which I really have no problem with them doing. He also said that because my header has an 02 bung on it, that it isn't for a GSR application but for a TYPE R/LS/GS/RS. But to make sure I'm getting the right part, that is why I'm posting.

Shouldn't a 94-99 GSR Carsound with flanges done by IPSracing fit my 94-99 Comptech Header and 94-99 APEXI World Sport II?

Yes, it would fit if you had those parts, but like the guy said, it doesn't sound like you have a header from a 94-99 GSR. If you did, there would be no o2 bung. Only headers from 00-01 GSRs have an o2 bung, otherwise they are LS/RS/GS/SE/ITR as he stated. 94-95 GSRs have 1 o2, in the cat, while 96-99 have 2 o2s in the cat. However, 94-01 LS all have one o2 in the header, while in 96-01 they also have one in the cat.
