Default InlinePro vs. LoveFab...what is your opinion...

Well i posted a thread up on s2ki.com about this, and no one is really replying. So i figured i would throw this one out here.

InlinePro is 1200$ less than the lovefab kit, but it doesn't come with the EMS...I know down the road i will want the EMS to tune my S very well. InlinePro also has the rights to its 3mm head gasket from what i understand. some people are telling me the inline kit uses cheaper parts than the lovefab, and the lovefab is more streetable because you can change parts to your liking...

The InlinePro kit looks a lot nicer IMO, but im not going to buy a kit because of the way it looks. I need somehing that will benefit my needs and goals (which are not made yet)

Anyway, what is everyones takes on these two kits?

well i'm doing a combination of both kits....

they both cost about the same if you add in the aem ems for the inline....and the part on the inline are also changeable... you can change the wastegate and bov (which are the weakest points in that kit i believe)..... and you can do the same with the love fab kit... the love fab kit is quite custom and i believe cody does all the manifolds by hand..

this is going to be mysetup..
love fab turbo kit
inline pro 3mm headgasket
inline pro intercooler
inline pro intercooler piping....

this way i get the clean look (from the intercooler piping) and the performance of the lovefab plus more cuase i'll be able to turn up boost...

from what i see from videos and dyno sheets. the love fab kit is more streetable and would be better for a road track..

Tial are cheaper parts the turbosmart. How can some of you say that the turbosmart stuff is worse? With the idea of using the 2 kits as one, how in the hell are you going to get teh piping to fit teh lovefab mani set up? the turbos are in 2 diffrent places???

easy... it's custom piping from the intercooler to the minfold.... love fab does all custom work so it should be a big deal to make a pipe to fit it...

Lovefab*1000000 Cody makes the hottest ****. Youve seen the thread of his boosted s2k. No reason to consider any other turbo kit.

Has anyone out there considered Full-Race? I am in the process of starting a S2K project and it will most certainly used Full-Race components. They are a little on the pricey side, but unmatched when it comes to quality.

2000 miles so far, with a 4000 mile road trip coming up in two weeks.
was just installed, with the rear end probably next to fail.
The engines are FINE with tuning, but the rest of the drivetrain has to be babied unless things are swapped out/beefed up.

Clutch looks great! I have heard good things about exedy.

Anyway, if it were my buck (and indeed, it was) I would go with the guys @ Lovefab. The quality is top notch, and working with Cody is a pleasure. Great guys. There is absolutely something to be said about service that to me outweighs dollar value in a lot of circumstances.

Plus, EMS will make your rig better anyway ;p When thats factored in, it isn't that much more per part, if at all.
