mpfi question
correct me if im wrong, when doing a dpfi to a mpfi conversion, you need to remove the resistor box by cutting the harness on both sides and soldering each wire together? also do i need to run an obd1 ecm or is there a specific ecm i can run w/o converting? forgive me if this sounds stupid, im new to the honda world.
ok, just did a search, and i found one of the answers i needed, still cant find out what ecm i need! also, what injectors are compatable? i read somewhere i could use dsm injectors, but id like to keep everything "honda". do i stay with the si injectors or do i get the obd1 injectors? TIA
Ok if it is the stock 89 dx motor I would just stay obd0 and use a pm6 ecu. If you are using stock 88-91 injectors then you need a resistor box since they are low impedance injectors. If you use saturated injectors(92+) you will need to remove the resistor box and convert to obd1 and use a non-vtec obd1 ecu.

That is correct sir.
[FYI] never solder injector box wires together on a OBD1 swap, use the 8 pin OBD1 injector block off plug that was designed for it. Those wires are not ground wires, thats 12v+.
If you give up - rywire.com (i'll hook you up, just remind me of this post)
