Default Upgrade 1st gen b16 to 2nd gen throttle body

Is a 2nd gen B16a throttle body a direct swap for a 1st gen b16? I'm using a 3bar map BTW.

Thanks,

Keith P

Yes but the 2nd gen b16a throttle body has the map sensor mounted on the throttle body instead of the firewall.

Yes. Your going from a 58mm to a 60 mm size and it bolt right on. The 1990-91 Integra also has the same advantage without messing with the map sensor.

For the record the stock MAP sensor wiring on the EF/ED will reach the TB mounted MAP sensor if you pull the wiring out of the loom bundle. No need to extend the wiring.

I'm running a GM 3bar map. is the hole from the map on the throttle body easy to plug?
