I wonder how to drive fast with a cvt civic up/downhill, should i use the Sportmode"D" or use the "L" instead? It is hard to keep high rpm for the vtec to keep working using Sportmode. It overstressing the engine so much if i use "L".
Any comment/experience on the honda Multimatic?

We dont have those terms here in the US...

 

for highway cruising, I leave it in D. For around town, or highway passing, I put it in S. For taking off really fast, like at a light or on a dragstrip or out of a tight corner, use L.

man I just realized I'm talking like I still own the car...man I miss my CVT.
