I've never heard of this and I doubt it is open to everyone.

Emissions warranty in CA is 8 years.

I'd like to take my 1993 integra to the dealer since it has 142,000 and say I want that free service that joo are offering....I bet that I won't get laughed at.

It's not a free service for everyone. It's a recall for 96 and 97 integras. I got the recall letter a couple years ago. what they do is a free tune-up and reset the check engine light for free under 150000 miles.

If some one from one of the dealerships would be willing to clarify this, I think it's all hondas and acuras from 96-97 because the computers didn't meet emmision regulations. It was on the news but that was a loooong time ago.

True that, it is also free if you have any CEL or fail to pass emission they will fix it for free, the limit is 10 year 150k miles. If you got a bad cat make sure you bring it in for them to replace it for free.

Can anyone verify that it's only for 96 and 97s?

I have a 96 as well, but mine is OBD2a. Did you change to an OBD1?

is this offer only in CA? or is this nationwide? I didn't know about the recall at all. Maybe I'll try calling an acura dealership out here and find out

Do you have to be the original owner for this service? And is it only in CA or the whole country?

That's true lol, I just thought it was only cali because of the stricter emissions rules there. If it's for the whole country then I'm really happy to get a $200 service free
