question for gsr owners
have you ever heard like a rattling noise when you have a wide open throttle? cause i am, i made sure nothings rattling or loose in the engine bay. and weird thing about it is i can only hear it when i around 6k to redline
I think I know what you are talking about. Is it a metal to metal rattling at about 4k-4500 rpm?
If so it is a problem with the exhaust manifold. I'm not sure exactly what it is but if you put an aftermarket header on, it should solve your problem.
EDIT: Never mind, just reread it and what I'm talking about happens at lower RPMs and then stops shortly after. OOooopppss

it could also be your heatshield for your cat.....i had a rattle from my stock exhaust manifold b-pipe so i got a header and it went away. then a yr later, i got a similar rattle and its the heatshield.
