Should I get a 3/8" or 1/2" impact driver set to get the philips rotor screws off? Any recommendations on a cheap quality set that i can buy from a local store like autozone, schucks, napa, sears, lowes, home depot etc?

 

I picked up the Husky 1/2" drive impact for $20 at my local Home Depot. Havent used it yet, but comes with 4 different sized phillips heads bits and the adapter for the 1/2" drive to 1/4".

Thanks, I'll make sure to check it out sometime.

 

Just take your time with the impact driver. I broke the darn phillips head and had to get the screw extractor thingy from Sears.

3/8 with adapters works fine...its the size of the hammer that does the trick
