Upholstery patch ?
I have a small aprox. 1 inch cut in my drivers seat lower bolster that I want to patch before it frays and spreads. I've thought about tucking a small iron-on patch (like for jeans) inside between the cut and the foam but I suspect by the time I get it hot enough to stick the synthetic fabic will get f*cked up. I doubt a jean patch would stick to the rubber-like backing anyway.
Stitching with thread doesn't work at all because the knot pulls right thru the material.
Not sure if a fabic patch with super glue is a good idea either as this type of glue will melt plastics.
Maybe just Duct tape ? Ideas ?
Thanks
