b16a if u can get some parts cheap/free. and dont forget that u can sell the old motor to get most of the money back.

stock 100% complete d16a6 motor, tranny and ecu u can prolly get 500-700 depending on the conditon.

so let's say u sell it for $500, that means u'll have $1500 to spend so then u get mounts for $400, a stock b16a for $600, ls tranny for $300, pwo ecu for $200. ecu plugs in cuz it's non-obd, but has the right program for b16. run a few wires for vtec. get some minor things to fit, but noting hard prolly, it depends on your perticular car. and there u go, high to mid 14s.

and u prolly know some people or can find some good deals online on some used parts. so it'll be cheaper.

ok, well thats not all entirely accurate. first of all u'd be VERY hard pressed to dump a 13 y/o sohc for that much. second, why are u suggesting an ls tranny? and third, a stock b16 setup in a crx si will run a high 14 at best. if you need a good price on a b16, try nippon-motors.com, or hondamotorsonline.com for a complete setup for 1250.

Hey, if that's what you sell 'em for, I'll send you four of them and pay you commision! I can't give the damn things away, I just like to keep 'em around for spare sensors.
