Default help!@#$

i got myself a pos 89 crx w/ 92 integra ls motor. the car has lots of problems, motor in particular.

is it a better option to get the overbore on the engine and replace all those parts or get something else? am not sure what to do.

whats wrong with the engine that makes u want to rebuild it?

Even if you do have to rebuild it you dont necisarally have to bore out the cylinders if everything is within specs.

the engine has millions of miles on it and the piston rings are all fd up so it burns oil. am assuming the engine needs to be rebored etc cause the cylinder walls are egg shaped and no good.

i just have no idea where to start of how much this money pit will be.

If that is the case. Then it will be cheaper imho to swap the engine.... Rebuilding an engine can be very expensive (machine shop time + new parts) and labor intensive. Edit: THat's if the car is worth it. Sometimes buying another car is a better approach. If the engine is this bad, then maybe the trans is shot too.

I would buy another engine as well. Beats dealing with bad internals.
