cam shafts with stock valvetrain
could i run my car with the crower stage 2 turbo cams with my stock valvetrain if i keep it under 3,000 rpm. i just need to be able to drive it for a week until i build the rest of the head.
Why not wait another week? Why go thru the trouble of putting in cams when you gonna pull the head out within a week? Sometimes i wonder.

i knew i was going to get a response like that. i need the vehicle to get to work for now, until my parents get their car back from the body shop so i could use their other car. The reason i need to swap the cams is because a friend of mine traded me my stock cams for the turbo stage 2. it was a straight swap because it didnt work with his supercharger. so now i have these turbo cams installed and ready but i dont want to start the car without knowing if it will mess it up. i already have the other valve train parts i just need to wait almost a week. i dont care about taking extra effort in removing and replacing cams. that only takes about 10 minutes to do.
