**BRAKE SWAPS FOR MY 93 HATCH***
Trying to get some info on possible brake swaps for my 93 Hatch. I am putting down too much power for the stock brakes, but don't want to sheel out the money for a Fastbrakes kit right now. Anyone know of what conversions are possible for not a lot of money? SI, Integra?
Get Integra FRONT and rear brakes, and any 1 inch integra master cylinder and appropriate brake booster. Also, get a 4040 proportioning valve from a 94-95 RS (non abs) integra. You'll be the man.
Hello
I own a 94 delsol si(sohc). You have mentioned to a 93 hatch owner what you would recommend for a brake upgrage swap. Your response was for an Itegra brake upgrade kit. One thing I want to do is keep my current rims which is 4 lug for a civic(which I do not want to get rid of). I Know that USDM Itegra is a 4 lug but may have a different offset. Which integra year and type of Integra would allow me to upgrade size without changing stock setup of everything else. Also any additional parts that I may need to optimize your recommendation.
Thanks for your time,

was wandering if anyone has complete recommendation for brake swap for 94(soch cam car), that will be supperior to the one I have with all parts needed to be complete. I know that an ITR set up is recommended but dont want to replace rims(5lug) I Know that the USDM 96 ITR is 4 lug but not sure if it would work with my rims. Any Info would be helpful. Otherwise I will have to go to aftermarket for complete brake upgrade which will cost a fortune.

Hell no.
1. Brembo blank with some good pads.
or
2. integra 94-01 non-ITR front and rear complete brack.
Oh, remember you can only brake as good as your tire can grip.

Brembo's are pieces of crap, your brake set up will be find with some cross slotted and drilled Centric rotors and some Axxis Unlimated pads
That set up coupled with five lug conversion will stop you on a dime.

I hope you were joking about the cross drilled crap you just praised, because that was a false statement.
Don't listen to this guy, get some new autozone blank rotors, get some good pads, bleed with synthetic fluid, use the e-brake trick, and be done.
However if you want more get some integra or EX front spindles, VW Corrado rotors, Type R calipers, 1" Master cylinder, and good pads/fluid.

Autozone blank rotors
That's good if you're daily driving in circles but he said more power, not stock power. If he wanted to get some regular pads, there would have been no purpose of posting at all.
It primarly depends on what you want to do. Don't be a ricer and get a big brake kit to go and pick up grocery's and don't be cheap and buy some blanks for a circuit course or in a lot of stop and go traffic. Do some research and you'll see, Centrics are far better than Brembo's and stock rotors from Kragen and Autozone and similar to what you have on your car now. Some of them aren't even heat treated so why would you buy them. Don't waste your money listening to someone elses bad decision. Do your own research.
