Is it just me or is it severely underpowered? Are they going to be making a high HP hybrid?

 

Underpowered? You do realize it's got more power than the regular V6? You do realize that it's faster?

And you do realize the whole point of hybrid motors is NOT to make cars more powerful, but for environmental and economic reasons?

there is no demand for high HP high performance hybrid cars ryte now...but yea, the new accord hybrid has like 20 more HP (i think, correct me if im wrong) dont know if its faster though, becuase im sure its alot heavier also...but honda does have a concept electric high performance car modeled after the NSX having if i remember correctly excess of 300HP(? i cud be wrong, its been awhile since i read about it)

 

if you're comparing hybrid cars, you have to compare them to other hybrids. the accord hybrid is the fastest and the most powerful hybrid car out on the market right now.

 

The Accord Hybrid is faster than the regular V6 version. I don't know if it is much heavier than the V6 because I know the deleted certain options like the sunroof to save weight.
